The Trailer Dog Park: “Deadpool 3” and “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” are coming to save the cinematic world!

Howdy Folks! Here’s a couple of new trailers for some highly anticipated movies coming later this year. The first is the number one viewed trailer of all time. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman finally share the screen together in “Deadpool And Wolverine” the third in the high successful film series. Based on Rob Liefeld’s Image comic, Deadpool is a different kind of hero whose raunchy (and hilarious) antics differentiate him from the run-of-the-mill superhero films. This trailer should set minds at ease as to whether Disney would water down the merc with a mouth. The next is the latest Godzilla and Kong movie. Entitled “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” this new film promises an epic team-up between cinema’s two most iconic monsters as they must team up to face an even deadlier adversary. Both films look like a lot of fun. Enjoy the trailers! So Sayeth The Kendog!

Dog’s Movie House: “I.S.S.” Nifty Space Thriller That Gets A Boost From A Terrific Cast!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at the new Bleeker Street Studios release, “I.S.S” which is short for “International Space Station.” This is a nifty little thriller that gets a lot of mileage out of its smaller budget. Most of this is due to a fairly smart script, some taut direction and some excellent performances by a game cast. “I.S.S.” is grounded in reality despite its space setting and the relationships between the characters are more complex than in most movies of this kind!

Dog’s Movie House: “The Creator” Another Winner From Gareth Edwards!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at a delightfully entertaining piece of science fiction from director Gareth Edwards, the director of the hit Star Wars film “Rogue One.” The one’s an original story called “The Creator” and it involves a former soldier named Joshua (John David Washington) who is encouraged to help the human military in their fight against rogue AI. Any form of Artificial Intelligence is banned in America after an AI attack ten years prior resulted in the nuclear destruction of Los Angeles. Joshua is tasked with finding an ultimate weapon that could turn the tide of the war for the AI, but things take a turn when he finds that said weapon is a cybernetic child (Madeleine Una Voyles). Changing circumstances necessitate that Joshua protect the little girl (who he names Alphie) and both end up being hunted by both man and machine.

The Trailer Dog Park: “Aquaman 2” and “The Creator” Anchoring Some Big Science Fiction In The Coming Months!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a couple of new entries for the Trailer Dog Park. Sit back and relax as you enjoy trailers for some of the biggest upcoming films releasing later this year. First we have “Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom” the long awaited sequel to James Wan’s DC tenpole. Jason Mamoa returns as the underwater superhero and fights an old enemy in Black Manta. Looks appropriately bonkers! Next is the next film from Gareth Edwards, the mind behind 2014’s “Godzilla” and “Rogue One.” This one’s an original film called “The Creator” and details mankind’s battle for survival against AI only with a slightly different twist than “Terminator” or “The Matrix.” This film looks huge and could be one of the hits of the season. Edward’s work has been stellar so far and I can’t wait to see this one. Enjoy the trailers! So Sayeth The Kendog!

Dog’s Movie House: Hulu’s “Robots” Is Entertaining Fare That Doesn’t Quite Hit The Bullseye!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at Hulu’s latest original film, a science fiction comedy called “Robots.” It has an intriguing premise: The right wing government has managed to deport all of the illegal aliens back to Mexico and have replaced them with life-like robots to do all the menial tasks the former illegals once performed. Enter Charles (Jack Whitehall) a womanizer who uses his perfectly mannered twin robot C2 (also Whitehall) to do all the dirty work of meeting and wooing several women just so he can sleep with them. Also using this technique is Elaine (Shailene Woodley) a grifter who uses her double E2 (again, also Woodley) to string as many wealthy men along as she can without actually sleeping with them. An odd mixup allows the two robots to meet where they make a connection and decide to run off together, effectively taking over Charles and Elaine’s live. It’s up to the two less than respectable humans to stop their doubles before the authorities find out and arrest the two for possessing illegal versions of themselves.
