Dog’s Movie House: “Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness” A Fun Trip Through New Marvel Possibilities!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at the latest Marvel behemoth (and I mean that as a compliment). It’s called “Dr. Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness” and features the returning (and always welcome) Benedict Cumberbatch as Marvel’s Master Of The Mystic Arts. This time, though, Strange may have met his match as he faces none other than Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olson) as she goes into full Scarlet Witch-mode in an effort to be with her children. If that means tearing apart the fabric of the Multiverse. . .so be it!

The Dogcast: “Command Performance” For Your Old Radio Enjoyment!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with some more old radio fun! This time I thought I’d include some classic “Command Performance.” These were variety shows that broadcast to soldiers overseas between 1942 and 1949 and featured some of the biggest talents in show business. This time I’ve got two episodes, both from 1942, one of which features Fred Allen and the other with Shirley Temple. A little simpler time, with some terrific comedy and music, all for the morale of the soldiers in World War II. Enjoy and feel free to comment on either the site or my Facebook page. So Sayeth The Kendog!

Command Performance – Fred Allen – 3/18/1942
Command Performance – Shirley Temple – 4/19/1942

The Trailer Dog Park: “Jurassic World: Dominion” Gets The Inner Dinosaur Geek Going!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a confession. I love me some dinosaur movies. I love all the Jurassic Park and World films (even “The Lost World”). Not all of the films are perfect and none of them come close to Spielberg’s classic original (with is nearing 30 years old. . .WTF!), but the little kid in me loves all of them. Bringing dinos to life on the big screen has always been incredible to me and watching the new trailer for the final film in the Jurassic World trilogy finds me excited again. Even if the film is underwhelming from a story standpoint. . . well. . .dinosaurs! Check out the latest trailer below and feel free to comment here or on my Facebook page. So Sayeth The Kendog!

Dog’s Movie House: “Memory” A Waste Of Talented Cast And Intriguing Premise!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at yet another Liam Neeson action opus. Remember when Liam Neeson could act? It’s not that he’s lost his talent but ever since “Taken” Neeson has stuck to the angry vigilante with a unique set of skills genre, each succeeding film delivering diminishing returns. This film is no different, a middling effort despite being directed by the guy who successfully rebooted James Bond twice and a solid cast that deserves better than this.
