Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with another classic movie scene! This one is the terrific back and forth between Jim Garrison (Kevin Costner) and the mysterious Mr. X (Donald Sutherland) in Washington D.C. during the terrific Oliver Stone film “JFK” (1991) Oliver Stone has always been hit-or-miss with me but “JFK” serves as one of my favorite films. A conspiracy buff’s delight, it details New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison’s attempts to find and try the perpetrators of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963. It may not be entirely true, but the movie is wonderfully constructed. This scene involves the mysterious insider Mr. X (he won’t give his real name) as he details all of the events leading up to and after the assassination of Kennedy that lead to the conclusion that the president’s death led to a coup by the military industrial complex. This scene is so well constructed that it’ll have even the mosts cynical person believing in the vast conspiracy, if only for a few minutes. Also pay attention to John Williams amazing score! Enjoy! So Sayeth The Kendog!
