Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with some more old radio fun. We’re sticking with the comedies this week with a couple of vintage episodes of “Fibber McGee & Molly.” Jim and Marian Jordan played the long lasting couple in Wistful Vista, with Fibber telling his tall tales and Molly patiently putting up with them, sometimes letting the air out of his balloon in the process. These two early 1940s episodes feature Harold Peary as The Great Gildersleeve, a character so popular he ended up with his own series, marking the first example of a successful spinoff.
