The first is David Ayer’s latest, a gritty crime thriller called “The Tax Collector.” The second is a nifty little horror film called “What Keeps You Alive.” Both are well made, but Ayer’s film unfortunately suffers from a stereotypical script while “What Keeps You Alive” is an unexpected gem.
