Dog’s Movie House: Zach Cregger’s “Weapons” One Of The Best, Original Horror Films In Recent Memory!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at the new film from one of the talented young filmmakers in the business. Zach Cregger burst on the scene a couple of years ago with the delightfully bonkers “Barbarian.” That first film was a sprawling story that took so many twists and turns you felt the need for Google Maps to keep track of everything. That’s not a criticism: “Barbarian” served as one of the most wonderfully unpredictable films in a long time. Now, even with crazy strike delays, recasting issues, and other problems, Cregger is back with his sophomore feature: an incredible horror film simply titled “Weapons.” Don’t let the title fool you though: “Weapons” is a complex, terrifying film that ups the tension and is even more tightly constructed than “Barbarian.”
