Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog with a look at Chadwick Boseman’s last film and it’s a corker! It’s called “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom” and although Boseman is in a supporting role, he rules over the film in one last great performance. Set in a recording studio in Chicago in 1927, Boseman and Viola Davis lead a sterling cast in a drama about art versus commerce and the Black experience during the early part of the 20th century.
