Dog’s Movie House: “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” Is A Slight, Yet Fun Take On A Classic Video Game!
Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here and if you grew up during the eighties and nineties, you probably remember wasting a great deal of time playing Super Mario Bros. on your Nintendo. I know I burned a few brain cells trying to get Italian plumber Mario through the maze of traps and pipes to try and rescue Princess Peach. Around the same time a live action version of the game came out in 1993 that was simply titled “Super Mario Bros.” It was a disaster despite staring such luminaries as John Leguizamo, Bob Hoskins, and Dennis Hopper. This latest update comes from uber-producer James Wan, best known for his horror franchises like the Conjuring and Insidious series. So how does this new version of “Mortal Kombat” fare? Read on and find out!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog back from a long vacation ready to update you on what to see in the theater this week!
Disneyland is one of my favorite places, made all the sweeter by being able to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my lovely wife of almost 22 years. Unfortunately we were on the go for over a week and despite the presence of a laptop and Wi-Fi, yours truly couldn’t get around to keeping up with the movies that are coming out left and right. I did get a chance to watch the Oscars and will be posting a article about that particular ceremony in a few days. Until then, let’s get caught up, shall we?
