The first is “Dog” featuring Channing Tatum as veteran assigned with taking an unruly dog across the country to the funeral of the dog’s owner: a fellow soldier. The next in the cinematic adaptation of the popular video game “Uncharted” in which Tom Holland plays Nathan Drake, a young treasure hunter in search of the lost gold of Magellan. Dog’s Movie House: “Spider-Man: No Way Home” Is Probably The Most Fun You’ll Have At The Movies This Year!
Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog with a look at one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year! It’s “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and boy, does it deliver the goods. I’ve always identified with Spider-Man more than any other comic book hero because he was someone to which I could relate. Peter Parker (the excellent Tom Holland) is, underneath all of the power and costumes, just a teenage kid trying to get through life. The interesting thing about Peter Parker is that, because of his moral code, having superpowers doesn’t make his life any easier. It actually makes it far more difficult, yet Peter perserveres because of his intelligence and his integrity. “No Way Home” the third in director Jon Watts’ MCU trilogy, is an emotional and exciting leap foward for the web slinger, forcing Peter to make decisions about what kind of hero and man he wants to be.Continue reading
