Dog’s Movie House: “Saw X” proves there’s still life in the long running franchise!”
Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at “Saw X” the tenth film in a franchise nearly twenty years old. The Saw franchise has declined in quality with each new convoluted chapter, so it was quite the surprise to see that this installment is actually the best film in the entire series. This is due to the fact that “Saw X” actually takes place between the first two films and places the narrative solely on the shoulders of Tobin Bell’s John Kramer, also known as the villainous Jigsaw. Kramer, after receiving his cancer diagnosis, decides to try an expensive experimental treatment in Mexico. What he finds out is that the whole staff are actually a group of con artists who manage to swindle Kramer out of his money without performing any surgery. This leads Kramer to take the whole team of criminals prisoner to play a series of his violent games.
