Dog’s Movie House: “Captain America: Brave New World” Benefits From Both Mackie And Ford!
Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at the latest Captain America Marvel Movie. And, by the way, “Brave New World” features a brand new Captain American. With Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) having retired after the events of “Avengers: Endgame,” he has personally passed his iconic title and shield to friend and team member Sam “The Falcon Wilson” (Anthony Mackie) who uses technology and intelligence in lieu of taking any super soldier serum. Mackie, a terrific actor, owns the role of Sam Wilson, and makes for a convincing, if a bit different, Captain America. “Brave New World” charts Sam’s often contentious relationship with the U.S. Government, especially the newly elected President Of The United States, one Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross (an excellent Harrison Ford). The result is an entertaining, slick film filled with very good performances and the continuation of several important narrative threads that set up some intriguing possibilities in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
