You’ve got to love Hollywood! Franchise building is something the studios want so desperately to succeed and if it can be part of a shared universe, all the better! Last week the “Conjuring” universe gave as an origin story (of sorts) on the scary demonic nun first featured in “The Conjuring 2” and this week gives us the latest attempt to revive the alien Predator series whose first film premiered over thirty years ago! And finally we’ve got a bouncy take on the noir thriller from Paul Feig, the director of “Bridesmaids” and “Spy.” So which ones are worth seeing? Read on and find out!
