Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with some more old radio fun! This time we’re featuring a classic thriller program from 1952 featuring narration by the legendary Orson Welles. The setting was Scotland Yard’s museum of death, The Black Museum. Welles would take an artifact from the museum and tell the sordid tale of how it got there, usually involving a gruesome murder or some other crime. Today I’m featuring a couple of episodes of the classic adventure series “Escape” from 1947. “Escape” ventured into realms of adventure and intrigue from 1947 to 1954 and was considered one of the finest adventure shows in radio. Using “Night On Bald Mountain” as it’s theme, “Escape” really transported listeners into the realm of high adventure. It’s The Kendog here and after a wonderful time at the movies saying goodbye to the legendary Indiana Jones, I thought it would be fun to revisit the other four films and show you what I believe to be the best action sequences in each film. Even “Indiana Jones And The KIngdom Of The Crystal Skull” has plenty of great moments despite the film’s mostly spotty critical and audience reception. Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with the long awaited return of The Dogcast version of my appearences on The Pat Walsh Show! I should have thought of this long ago but my brain has apparently been in vapor lock since getting back from my vacation! (Ah, Laguna Beach, how I miss you!). This episode features my reviews of The Flash, No Hard Feelings, and Asteroid City, which Pat watched with me. Pay attention to that conversation as my understanding of the film is a bit muddled to say the least. Makes for some fun radio, though.
