Dog’s Movie House – “Blue Beetle” A Neat Superhero Film That’s Anchors The Action With A Strong Heartbeat!”

It’s The Kendog here with a look at DC’s latest superhero film “Blue Beetle” a somewhat obscure character that turns out to be the subject of one of the most heartfelt, entertaining movies of the summer. “Blue Beetle” stars Xolo Mariduena as Jaime Reyes, a recent college graduate whose family has fallen on hard times. In attempting to earn money to help the family, he comes into possession of an object called The Scarab, a sentient power source that bonds with Jaime and transforms him into the Blue Beetle. He’s going to need all the power he can get as the owner of the Scarab, one Victoria Kord (a wonderfully icy Susan Sarandon) will stop at nothing to get it back. Jaime must use his newfound abilities to protect his family from Kord and her army of mercenaries.
