Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog! Well, the most anticipated movie of the summer has arrived I can difinitively say it does not disappoint. “Deadpool & Wolverine” is hands down one of the most entertaining films of the year. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman finally team up as Deadpool and Wolverine and the results are side-splitting, violent, and unexpectedly poignant. The film is filled with appearances from several characters from the Fox era of Marvel films and many of them have a significant impact on the story. “Deadpool & Wolverine” serves as a snarky love letter to the uneven but influential era of superhero films that took place before the MCU took over and it’s a joy to behold!

It’s The Kendog here with a look at Shawn Levy’s new film “Free Guy.” Teaming up with Ryan Reynolds, Levy’s made a video game film that is not really about video games and that’s what makes the movie so good. Reynolds is pure movie star gold in this film, which exhibits as much heart and humor as it does expensive special effects. It makes “Free Guy” a truly wonderful experience at the movies!
