Dog’s Movie House: “Ant Man & The Wasp: Quantumania” A Good Start To The Next Big Marvel Storyline!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at “Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania” the latest Marvel Studios superhero extravaganza. Paul Rudd returns as Scott Lang, who up until this point is living the good life as an Avenger. He’s on good relationship footing with his girl Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), and improving his relationships with Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer). The only person he’s having trouble connecting to is his rebellious daughter Cassie (Kathryn Newton). That all changes when a device Cassie invents sucks them all into the Quantum Realm where they discover the powerful Kang The Conquerer (Jonathan Majors), a interdimensional time travel with incredible technology who longs to escape the Quantum Realm. To do that, he needs help from Janet Van Dyne (with whom he has a history) and the abilities of Ant Man. It’s up to Scott and his family to stop Kang from escaping the Quantum Realm and conquering the Earth.

The Trailer Dog Park: “The Matrix Ressurections” features the return of Neo. Also Edgar Wright’s Latest A Time Travelling Horror Show!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at two highly anticipated movies. The first is the return to the world of The Matrix with “The Matrix Resurrections” featuring the return of Keanu Reeve’s Neo (who looks a lot like John Wick now). Featuring groundbreaking special effects and a hopefully engaging plot, “The Matrix Resurrections” looks like an entertaining return to the world of virtual reality and high-tech wire-fu. Next we have Edgar Wright’s latest called “The Last Night In Soho,” which is about a woman in this time obsessed with the 1960’s whose fantasy and real world start to collide with increasingly horrific results. Edgar Wright is one of my favorite filmmakers and this looks crazy enough to be a refreshing original horror-noir piece that will stand out for all the right reasons. Enjoy the trailers and feel free to comment below or on my Facebook page. So Sayeth The Kendog!

Dog’s Movie House: “Tenet” Another Nolan Masterpiece? I Don’t Know Yet!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at Christopher Nolan’s latest mind bending action film, “Tenet.” Nolan is one of the few directors today who can get butts in the seats based on his name alone. Movies like “Interstellar,” “Inception,” and of course, The Dark Knight trilogy ensure that whenever Nolan releases as film it serves as a worldwide event. Now, with movie theaters struggling in an attempt to reopen, a Christopher Nolan film carries more importance than ever. The question that needs to be answered now is: Is “Tenet” worth the hullaballoo?
