The Kenblog: “Heat’s” Classic Shootout Is A Masterpiece Of Action!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with another Classic Movie Scene! This features the great bank robbery and resulting shoot out in Michael Mann’s crime masterpiece “Heat.” After a high profile bank robbery goes wrong (due to a betrayal) Neal McCauley (Robert De Niro) and his crew are forced to engage in a running shoot out through the streets of Los Angeles with the police led by Detective Vincent Hannah (Al Pacino). When the shoot out begins, the music stops and it becomes a kinetic masterclass in action filmmaking. Fans of the late, great Val Kilmer will be especially intrigued by his role in the proceedings. A great scene in a great film! So Sayeth The Kendog!
