The Kenblog: “Disneyland” During A Simpler Time!

Howdy Folks!  It’s The Kendog!

I have a deep and abiding love for all thing Disney.  I am especially fond of Disneyland and all of the classic attractions I remember enjoying as a kid, when my grandparents and my parents first let me experience “The Happiest Place On Earth.”  That said, Disneyland was going strong by the time I visited for the first time.  My mother and her folks actually went the year it opened and I still remember Mom’s recollections of her first theme park experience.  Now, thanks to my brother’s intrepid searching of YouTube, I have for you celebrity coverage of the opening day of Disneyland in 1955 in glorious, non-HD black and white!   Enjoy and feel free to comment below!  So Sayeth The Kendog!  Continue reading →
