It’s The Kendog here with a look at Jason Reitman’s “Saturday Night” which chronicles the 90 minutes prior to the airing of the first episode of “Saturday Night Live.” It’s a humdinger of a film in that it moves like its been shot out of a cannon, juggling multiple characters and scenarios like a circus performer juggling chainsaws. You don’t just see the chaos involved in the presentation of this new show: you actually begin to feel it and that’s something of a rare feat given the sprawling nature of the cast!
