Dog’s Movie House: “Till” An Outstanding Film With A Timely Theme And A Breakthough Performance!
Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at one of the best films of the year so far. It’s Chinonye Chukwu’s “Till” and features a powerhouse performance by Danielle Deadwyler as Mamie Till-Mobley, the mother of Emmett Till, a fourteen-year-old boy lynched in Money, Mississippi in 1955. Mamie’s willingness to use the death of her only son as the fuse to light the explosion of the Civil Rights Movement is one of the most heroic acts in history and this film dramatizes it perfectly!
