Dog’s Movie House: “Black Phone 2” Doesn’t Let A Dead Villain Get In The Way Of An Excellent Horror Film!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look “Black Phone 2” an excellent sequel to the 2021 horror hit from director Scott Derrickson. The original film featured a terrific new villain known as the Grabber (Ethan Hawke) who meets his match when his latest kidnapping victim Finney (Mason Thames) refuses to lay down and die. Finney gets help in both escaping and killing the Grabber from the spirits of the children who were the Grabbers previous victims. Despite escaping and emerging victorious, the past isn’t done with Finney, and neither is the Grabber! This makes for a thoroughly engaging and creepy horror film that more than stands on its own!
