Howdy Folks! It’s the Kendog here with another episode of Radio Daze! This edition of Radio Daze features a western radio series called “Frontier Gentleman” starring John Dehner as British Journalist J.B. Kendall, traveling the West and writing articles for his newspaper back in London. It only ran for a couple of years but was an entertaining take on the Western Genre. The Dogcast: Some Western Old Radio Fun In Honor Of “Cry Macho!”
Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog with some classic old radio again. This time it’s a couple of episodes of the popular radio series “Have Gun, Will Travel” starring John Dehner as Paladin, a gun for higher based out of San Francisco. The show was popular enough that it made a successful transition to television. While not as consistently excellent as “Gunsmoke” it’s still a terrific show.
