Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with my latest appearance on The Pat Walsh Show! During this appearance I chat with Pat about the terrific musical “In The Heights.” We find that we kind of disagree about certain musicals, especially what comprises a “classic.” (That’s what I get for debating such an old man. . .just kidding of course!). I give my top five favorite musicals (notice I didn’t say “best” of course, just my favorites.) I also get to do my best Les Miz impression (not very good but funny as hell for all the wrong reasons). I also get to take part in “Stuff We Couldn’t Get To” with Pat and the legendary Mark The Voice Guy. Enjoy the show and feel free to comment either below or on my Facebook page. As always big thanks to Pat Walsh, Mark “The Voice Guy” McKee, and the lovely and talented Kendall Tobe for allowing me to share this amazing experience. So Sayeth The Kendog!

For example, I hated “Les Miserables” because the music reflected the grim nature of the film. With “In The Heights,” the effect was the opposite. The music was so infectious, bouncy and enjoyable that it heightened my enjoyment of the film. Or maybe I’m just overthinking a bit. (It’s possible.)Continue reading
