Dog’s Movie House: “The Creator” Another Winner From Gareth Edwards!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at a delightfully entertaining piece of science fiction from director Gareth Edwards, the director of the hit Star Wars film “Rogue One.” The one’s an original story called “The Creator” and it involves a former soldier named Joshua (John David Washington) who is encouraged to help the human military in their fight against rogue AI. Any form of Artificial Intelligence is banned in America after an AI attack ten years prior resulted in the nuclear destruction of Los Angeles. Joshua is tasked with finding an ultimate weapon that could turn the tide of the war for the AI, but things take a turn when he finds that said weapon is a cybernetic child (Madeleine Una Voyles). Changing circumstances necessitate that Joshua protect the little girl (who he names Alphie) and both end up being hunted by both man and machine.

The Trailer Dog Park: “Aquaman 2” and “The Creator” Anchoring Some Big Science Fiction In The Coming Months!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a couple of new entries for the Trailer Dog Park. Sit back and relax as you enjoy trailers for some of the biggest upcoming films releasing later this year. First we have “Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom” the long awaited sequel to James Wan’s DC tenpole. Jason Mamoa returns as the underwater superhero and fights an old enemy in Black Manta. Looks appropriately bonkers! Next is the next film from Gareth Edwards, the mind behind 2014’s “Godzilla” and “Rogue One.” This one’s an original film called “The Creator” and details mankind’s battle for survival against AI only with a slightly different twist than “Terminator” or “The Matrix.” This film looks huge and could be one of the hits of the season. Edward’s work has been stellar so far and I can’t wait to see this one. Enjoy the trailers! So Sayeth The Kendog!
