Known as much for its rogue’s gallery of supporting characters as much as the title couple, Fibber McGee & Molly served as one of the most popular radio comedies of all time. In fact, it was one of the first to feature its own successful spinoff, The Great Gildersleeve, which premiered in 1941 and ran for almost 15 years on its own.
