Dog’s Movie House: “Cry Macho” A Gentle Modern Western With The One And Only Clint Eastwood!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at Clint Eastwood’s latest, a film called “Cry Macho” and, although it’s set during 1979, the film is definitely a western in spirit, with the screen legend actually getting back into the saddle on a few occasions and looking good doing it despite the fact that he’s over ninety years old. The fine performances and very human moments make up for the fact that “Cry Macho” doesn’t have a whole lot of kinetic momentum when it comes to the narrative. That said, while not a classic, “Cry Macho” is a fine adult drama with a terrific performance from an acting legend!
