Dog’s Movie House: Thanksgiving Holiday Roundup Featuring “Wicked,” Gladiator II” And “Moana 2”

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here, back after a bit of time off for the Thanksgiving holiday! Hope you all had a great Turkey Day with family and friends. (And let’s not forget the food!). Although Dog’s Movie House has been a bit silent for the last week or so, I did get a chance to at least see the big movies of the Thanksgiving season. And boy, was it a big two weeks! First “Wicked” and “Gladiator” had massive box office returns the week before Thanksgiving. Then, on the week of, “Moana 2” arrived and told the other two films to “hold my beer.” What’s really encouraging is that all three movies are actually pretty damn good!

The Trailer Dog Park: New Trailers For “Gladiator II” and “Captain America: Brave New World!”

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with another edition of the Trailer Dog Park. This edition features two trailers from two highly anticipated big budget tentpoles. First we have “Gladiator” the long gestating sequel to the Ridley Scott’s 2000 Oscar winner featuring Denzel Washington and Pedro Pascal. Then we have “Captain America: Brave New World” featuring Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, the new Captain America and Harrison Ford replacing the late William Hurt as Thunderbolt Ross, now President Of The United States! Both trailers are quite entertaining and should whet the appetites of cinema fans everywhere! So Sayeth The Kendog!

Dog’s Movie House: “The Equalizer 3” Makes For A Thriller Denzel Washington Series Capper!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at Denzel Washington’s third go around as retired government assassin Robert McCall. The Equalizer brand has remained popular over the years with Washington’s successful movies and Queen Latifah’s entertaining teleivsion reboot. Funny to imagine that both this film and the series were inspired by an eighties program featuring Edward Woodward as a retired British operative who comes to the aid of those in need. McCall does the same thing in “The Equalizer 3” only with a lot more bone-crunching violence!

Dog’s Movie House: “The Little Things” Doesn’t Take Said Little Things Into Account!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at “The Little Things” a crime thriller starring three Oscar winners and serves as a passion project for popular writer/director John Lee Hancock (“The Blind Side”). The thriller is set in the 1990s and takes inspiration from such classics as “Seven” and “Silence Of The Lambs.” So what could possibly go wrong? The answer: plenty!
