Dog’s Movie House: “28 Years Later: The Bone Temple” A Tour De Force For Ralph Fiennes!”

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here and I have to say I really enjoyed “28 Years Later” right up until the wild tonal shift that marked the ending. It wasn’t enough to kill the movie, but the Power Rangers routine featuring an adult Jimmy Crystal (Jack O’Connell) made collective audiences shake their collective heads in a gesture of “WTF?” Now, a year later, Danny Boyle has moved away from the director’s chair in favor of Nia DaCosta (“Candyman”) with another tight script by Alex Garland. The result is a tight central chapter in a planned trilogy that actually redeems the ending of the first film and makes both better as a result!
