The Kenblog: Classic Movie Scene From “Casablanca”
Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with another classic movie scene! We’re going in the Wayback Machine this time, traveling to 1942 and the Michael Curtiz-directed classic “Casablanca.” This wartime feature had an incredible cast led by Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, and the incomparable Claude Rains in one of my favorite rolls of his. Stellar support came from Peter Lorre, Sydney Greenstreet, Paul Henreid, and Conrad Veidt. Endlessly qoutable with some of the greatest movie dialogue of all time, “Casablanca” is one for the ages! This scene features the classic “La Marsailles” anthem in Rick’s nightclub as a counter to the Nazi sing-along, showing Victor Lazslo’s charisma as a leader. It ends with the nightclub being shut down and one of the funniest lines in movie history! Enjoy! So Sayeth The Kendog!
