This episode features a couple of 1944 episodes of the classic detective show “Boston Blackie.” Blackie, created by Jack Doyle for a series of stories, is a reformed jewel thief and safecracker who is now a private detective. His methods often are at odds with the upright Detective Faraday, but Blackie’s wit and charm usually save the day. Chester Morris stars as the title character.
