This comes from and early 1940’s series called Dark Fantasy which was like Suspense but with a more overtly supernatural bent. We’ve got a werewolf tale and spooky tale about something from the sea. Dog’s Movie House: “Candyman” a worthy sequel to a classic horror film!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at a sequel thirty years in the making. The film is “Candyman” a direct sequel to 1992’s film of the same name. I’m not sure whether or not the world was clammoring for another Candyman film, but I’m happy to report that writer/director Nia DaCosta has taken the mythology and social commentary of the first film and enhanced it in just about every way. Solid performances and some inventive effects and camera work make this new film both creepy and thought provoking.
