Dog’s Movie House: “Imaginary” Has Interesting Idea, Few Scares!
Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at the new Blumhouse horror film “Imaginary” starring Dewanda Wise from “Jurassic World: Dominion” as Jessica, a successful children’s book auther and artist who moves into her old family home to find her “happy place” after being plagued by consistent nightmares. Following her are her new husband Max (Tom Payne) and his two daughters, teenage Taylor (Teagan Burns) and little Alice (Pyper Braun), the latter of which finds a teddy bear named Chauncey who she claims as an imaginary friend. Of course all is not what it seems and Chauncey has a few deadly surprises up his sleeve with the intent of keeping Alice with him forever and ever!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here after a couple of weeks off for the holiday with the first fun film of the new year. It’s called M3GAN and while it has a lot in common with everything from “Frankenstein” to “Child’s Play” it has enough wicked humor and originality to be its own thing! The plot involves a little girl named Cady (Violet McGraw) who loses her parents in a car accident and is sent to live with her aunt, a robotics engineer named Gemma (Alison Williams). Gemma, who’s not good with kids at all, decides to test a new project on her neice, an advanced robot named M3GAN (Model 3 Generative Android). Gemma, who works for a cutting edge toy company, has been developing this project on the side and is a perfect chance to kill two birds with one stone: test her new tech and help herself with taking care of her wounded niece.
