Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at the long-delayed sequel to one of 2018’s surprise hits. When “A Quiet Place” hit theaters a few years ago, it wowed audiences with it’s lean storytelling, compelling characters, and intriguing premise of having vicious creatures who hunt by sound alone. Director John Krasinski proved to be a master of suspenseful storytelling as well as a gifted lead actor (trust me, you forget all about his character of Jim from “The Office). With all that money being made, a sequel seemed all but inevitable, but the pandemic caused this highly anticipated film from reaching theaters until now. I can say with certainty that this second film is on par from a dramatic, suspense, and science fiction standpoint with the first film.
