Radio Daze: Some “Gunsmoke” For Some Old Radio Western Fun!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with another episode of Radio Daze! This week on Radio Daze we’re featuring a couple of episodes of that classic radio western “Gunsmoke” Most of you know “Gunsmoke” as the long-running television series starring James Arness as Marshall Matt Dillion. In the radio show, however, William Conrad starred as Dillion, and his deep voice made the marshal seem about ten feet tall. “Gunsmoke” was a mature western for the time, taking on themes of violence, predjudice, and lawlessness in the West. I have a couple of episodes here from the 1950’s so enjoy them before you go out to see Kevin Costner’s latest Western, “Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter One!” So Sayeth The Kendog!
