Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with another episode of Radio Daze! This episode dives into the classic thrillers of the day, with two 1940 episdes of “The Green Hornet” featuring Al Hodge as crusading newspaper editor Britt Reid and his alter-ego, the masked avenger known as the Green Hornet. Alongside his faithful valet Kato, The Green Hornet fights evil criminals and pursues justice in the city’s shadows. It ran from 1936-1952 and was enormously successful! Speaking of shadows, I also have two classic 1938 episodes of “The Shadow” featuring none other than Orson Welles as Lamont Cranston, wealthy socialite who in reality is The Shadow, a specter who can cloud men’s minds so they cannot see him, allowing him to terrorize the criminal underworld! This was also an enormously popular show, running from 1937-1954! Enjoy the dark heroics! So Sayeth The Kendog!
