This time we’re featuring four episodes of a true gem: the thriller series “Bold Venture” starring none other than Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall as a boat captain and his girl in Havana, Cuba. Having worked together in “To Have And Have Not” and “Key Largo” on film, Bogie and Bacall’s chemistry crackles and the storie evoke the romantic adventure of such classic films as “Casablanca” and “The African Queen.” The show only ran from 1951-1952, but it’s a hidden gem that’s a joy to listen to.
