Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with some sad news. We lost two titans of the performing industry this week. A few days ago Hal Holbrook, known for his legendary portrayal of Mark Twain for several decades, passed away at the age of 95. And just today Oscar winning titan Christopher Plummer, best known as Captain von Trapp in “The Sound Of Music” and winning the Oscar in 2012 for “Beginners” passed away at the age of 91. Both leave a lasting legacy as legendary entertainers.

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog with some sad news! Two legendary women of entertainment passed this week within days of each other. First we lost Cloris Leachman at the age of 94. Then trailblazing actress Cicely Tyson passed at the age of 96!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at a nifty little sci-fi movie from Netflix called “Outside The Wire.” The film is set in the near future and feature’s Anthony Mackie, a talented actor probably best known as The Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He’s also had some fine performances in such film’s as “The Hurt Locker” and “Pain And Gain.” The film itself is a fairly intense action flick with high production values and a decent story.

It’s The Kendog here with a look at “The Little Things” a crime thriller starring three Oscar winners and serves as a passion project for popular writer/director John Lee Hancock (“The Blind Side”). The thriller is set in the 1990s and takes inspiration from such classics as “Seven” and “Silence Of The Lambs.” So what could possibly go wrong? The answer: plenty!
