Dog’s Movie House: “Wendell & Wild” Delightful Animated Spookiness From Jordan Peele And Henry Selick!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here with a look at a delightfully creepy bit of stop-motion animation by the creator of “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” It’s called “Wendell & WIld” and it’s about a young teenager named Kat (Lyric Ross) who, after losing her parents in a tragic car crash, finds herself a rebellious teenager and transferred to a private school in her hometown. While navigating the usual problems of the typical teenager, she finds she’s attracted the attention of of two demon brothers, Wendell (Keegan Michael Key) and Wild (Jordan Peele) who, in an attempt to to get out of dutch with their father Buffalo Belzer (Ving Rhames), come to the mortal world to fulfill there dream of opening a carnival of their own.
