Dog’s Movie House – “The Accountant 2” Is A Thoroughly Entertaining Sequel To Surprise 2016 Hit!

It’s The Kendog here with a look at “The Accountant 2” the followup to director Gavin O’Connor’s successful 2016 film “The Accountant” featuring Ben Affleck as Christain Wolff, a solitary man who’s great with numbers and manages to thrive despite (or maybe because) he exists on the spectrum. As a high-functioning autistic man, Wolff is a unique type of hero, representing a different type of marginalized individual. After “The Accountant” did decent business and became an even bigger hit on video and streaming, we now have “The Accountant 2” which follows Christian as he reunites with his estranged hit man brother Braxton (Jon Bernthal) to solve a mystery involving a missing child, trafficking and immigration. Building on the first film “The Accountant 2” is a rollicking thriller with a secret weapon lacking in the original film: an hilarious sense of humor!
