Dog’s Movie House: “Him”A Misfire No Matter Which Pronoun You Use!

Howdy Folks! It’s The Kendog here and it’s no secret 2025 has been a banner year for horror films. Everything from “Sinners” to “The Monkey” to “The Long Walk” and so on. So when I heard an announcement that Jordan Peele’s (“Get Out” “Us”) production shingle, Monkey Paw Studios, was putting out a new horror flick set in the world of professional football, I found myself at the very least, intigued. Unfortunately, despite some interesting ideas, “Him” is about as subtle as a sledgehammer when it comes to its messaging and the film suffers from thin characterizations that sabotage a good-looking film!
