Howdy folks!  It’s The Kendog with another edition of the Trailer Dog Park!


 

 

Finally we get our first look at “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” released this morning during Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, Florida.   I’ve gotta say I’m pretty excited over what I saw.  This is how you do a teaser trailer:  keep it simple with intriguing visuals and an even more intriguing hook regarding the fate of Luke and Rey.   I love the dark undertones and Luke’s final line at the end.  I have no idea what it means but I can’t wait to find out!   Enjoy the trailer below and feel free to comment.  I’ve also included the latest trailer from “Thor: Ragnarok”  and “It.”  So Sayeth The Kendog! I continue to apologize for my tardiness when it comes to posting stuff, but real life has a way of intruding and the timing has been just god-awful.  That said, I’ve been working out the kinks and issues and soon this website should achieve it’s full potential.   In the meantime I’m going to play a little catch-up and give you some capsule reviews and recommendations on what to see at the cinema.  They aren’t full reviews, but at the very least they’ll be comprehensive enough to let you know whether they’re worth your hard-earned dollar! Now if you’re one of the few people not lining up to see the new Star Wars movie, you do actually have a decent option at the theaters.  In what I consider to be a nice spot of counterprogramming we have the new comedy “Sisters” featuring Amy Poehler and Tina Fey.  There are laughs a plenty and a considerable amount of heart, along with another funny supporting performance by WWE wrestler John Cena that nearly steals the show.  If Jedi or space battles aren’t your thing the “Sisters” just might serve as a viable alternative.  Continue reading
